I've been meaning to post this great news for a little while now... I'm going to be an aunt again! If you've read my older posts, you will know that I am the aunt to two wonderful little boys, ages 6 and 7. I have been close to them since their birth and still enjoy spending as much time with them as I can. What a blessing they have been to my life!
Well, now my husband's brother and his wife will be having TWINS this Spring! The babies are due at the beginning of June, but will most likely come a little earlier than that. We are so happy to be welcoming two little ones into the family, and I am just so elated to be an aunt again! Two little ones to love, hug, kiss, pray for, and enjoy.
So now my mother-in-law and I are planning a baby shower for next month and I am so excited to get the plans going! They will not find out the genders of the babies until they are born. I know that many people enjoy knowing the gender before the birth, and I think that is perfectly fine. Personally, I love surprises too much to want to know the gender, so I am very happy my in-laws are keeping it a surprise.
So now I am busy crocheting my life away. I love making baby blankets for little ones as they arrive, and I have very little time to make the perfect blankets for my new nieces or nephews. I'll show you what they look like as soon as they are finished.
Congratulations! How exciting :) I just love being an aunt. I have 2 nieces a little younger then your nephews and agree that they are such a blessing! I just finished knitting a baby blanket for a relative and love the process of creating and praying for the baby (s in your case) that will be wrapped up in it someday!
