Turn Around Thursday

It's been a while since I posted one of these, but on this sleety/snowy/rainy day I think it is a perfect time for me to think positive and turn those negative thoughts around.

1) I realized yesterday that I have been cold for 3 months. No matter how many layers I put on I am always freezing!!! My husband told me last night that it is like being married to frosty the snowman.
Turn-around: At least God matched me up with a man who is a natural furnace, so all this cold weather means I get to cuddle more with my husband:)

2) I am in that time of my cycle where I am just waiting to see if I am pregnant or not. It has gotten kind of sad because now I am afraid to ever get my hopes up. Not knowing is so difficult
Turn-around: This journey has taught me the importance of letting go of my control-freak ways and giving my burdens to God. I truly believe now that God will give me children when he feels it is right.

3) Our new master closet is too small. It is about half the size of our old closet, and we have to use it as our master linen closet too. I have 2 bins sitting waiting to be unpacked and literally nowhere to unpack them.
Turn-around: Isn't it just ridiculous that I am actually complaining that I have too much stuff?! I should be on my knees praising God that I have such "problems"

Do you have any turn-arounds to share this Thursday?

  1. You could go into foster care! Thats a great way helping children getting a better life and you get to care for a child :)

I love to fellowship with others and hear what they have to say. I would ask, however, that you be mindful of what you write and try to be uplifting and respectful. Thank you for sharing!
