Our Labor Day Weekend Trip

My husband and I thought it would be fun to go on a "just because" vacation. We are always going to visit family or friends, and decided it would be a good idea to take a trip together to a new place. So instead of going west to our families, we went south to Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC

Everything was so beautiful. It got to the point where my husband would not let me drive because I was getting so distracted by all the beautiful vistas. I also loved the friendliness! It is true that people are friendlier in the South, and it is such a great thing.

We had such a wonderful trip and were so happy to have a couple days alone together. We haven't gone on a trip alone together since our honeymoon 2 1/2 years ago, so this was such a special treat.
