Meeting my new nephews

This last weekend my husband and I drove the 3 1/2 hours to see his family, where we got to meet our new twin nephews. We went to be at the hospital when they were born, but we ended up not being able to see them because we both had to get back to work (and we had a 3 1/2 hour drive between the hospital and home).

So this was a very exciting weekend for us. Our new little nephews were 4 weeks old on Sunday, and my husband and I really enjoyed bonding with them all weekend. One of the twins looks like my husband, and even has his middle name, which we thought was extra precious and sweet. Maybe this is a preview of what my future babies will look like, should God decide to bless me with them?

I took over a bit this weekend, sending both the parents to take lots of naps. It was nice to have some baby time and enjoy their little baby sounds and smells. If I can't have one myself, I'll enjoy all the other ones God brings into my life:)
