Pinterest Fashion

Have you discovered Pinterest yet? I have been active on it for a while now and I just love finding fun fashion ideas. I buy most of my clothing second hand, so most of it is not exactly in the first rate of fashion, but I do like to keep my eye out for new idea for dressing modestly but fashionably.

I love the outfit above. The brightly colored skirt is so different from what I usually do (which is a neutral skirt and a fun top). I love cardigans and have been growing my collection as I've been able to find them in thrift stores, but I never thought of wearing one quite like this. I also love the feminine and pretty necklace.

I also love the above outfit with the same idea of having a bright skirt (please forgive the immodest top). A lot of long skirts are not flowy like this, but more form fitting and not exactly modest. I have been keeping my eyes peeled for something like this, which looks modest and modern at the same time.

I love how casual and fresh this outfit it. This goes to show how you can take a dress which may not have as modest of a top, and re-purpose it with a jacket, or a cardigan.

Again, I am missing something with these bright colors! I love this outfit and how fresh, modern, and modest it is. Again this is a good example of how a dress which may not have a modest top can be made modest with a cardigan and a scarf. Not every item in my closet is perfectly modest, but I seek to put together modest outfits. This means I often use accessories or layering to cover up less modest features like low necklines or tank straps
