The purpose of Christianity is not to avoid difficulty, but to produce a character adequate to meet it when it comes. It does not make life easy; rather it tries to make us great enough for life. -- James L. Christensen

I read this quote to my husband just before posting this. We both agreed: this is a great quote. How difficult it is to remember the purpose of faith...to remember that Christianity is not an end in itself.

I love to fellowship with others and hear what they have to say. I would ask, however, that you be mindful of what you write and try to be uplifting and respectful. Thank you for sharing!
