Help a Christian in Need

I have been thinking a lot lately about how difficult it is to be a Christian sometimes. To stand up when people constantly mock our beliefs, and to stay strong when the very society we live in seems to be against us.

As odd as it is to hear, there are fellow brothers and sisters in Christ around the world who are struggling and suffering for their faith in even more trying ways than I mentioned above. Pastor Saeed Abedini has been imprisoned in Iran for his faith for over 6 months. Saeed Abedini is an American citizen who has teams of people behind him trying to fight for his release.

There has been some progress, and the State Department has finally come forward to condemn Saeed's imprisonment, partially due to the rallying that American Center for Law and Justice has put behind this case, including a petition with over 550,000 signatures. So please consider taking a moment to go to aclj.org to sign the petition. You will see it on the right side. The video below is short and will give you some more imformation.

I love to fellowship with others and hear what they have to say. I would ask, however, that you be mindful of what you write and try to be uplifting and respectful. Thank you for sharing!
